Pohjoismaisten freelance-journalistien järjestöjen yhteistyönä organisoitu miniwebinaari käsittelee freetyötä pandemian aikana. Tapahtuma on englanniksi, ja se on tarkoitettu pohjoismaisten freejournalistijärjestöjen jäsenille.

Tapahtuma järjetetään etäyhteydellä Zoomissa. Zoom-linkki on lähetetty Suomen freelance-journalisteille free-uutiskirjeessä, ja sen saa pyytämällä SFJ:n toimistolta. Toimiston sähköpostiosoite on  yhdistys@freet.fi.

15.00 – 16.00: Panel with the presidents in the nordic unions.
How does the working conditions for freelancers differ in the nordic countries? How do our Unions work for the freelance branch, and what lies ahead? Panel is led by Maria Pettersson, editor of the finnish trademagazine Journalisti.


16.00 – 16.15: Coffee break

16.15 – 16.30: Music from the beautiful island Sula
The freelance musicians Julie And Andreas Rokseth has travelled the world with their harp and bandoneon, playing tango, folklore and their own composition. 16.30 – 17.30: Kyrre Lien – Freelancing during a pandemic
When the national lockdown was announced on March 12 in Norway, Kyrre Lien, like many of his freelance colleagues, was worried about lack of comissions and the uncertainty. But at the same time, he saw the situation as a unique possibility. He will show some of his exciting projects, like his 8000 km travel from Cap North to Sicily.


17:30 – 18:00: What’s going on in Europe?

Oddrun Midtbø, co-chair in EFJ FREGwill talk about what impact Covid-19 has on freelance journalists in different European countries and what their unions have done to help. She will also give a short update on the status of the work EFJ is doing concerning collective bargaining and competition rules.
